Life can feel like an endless series of peaks and valleys, where moments of joy and success are often followed by despair and defeat. This cycle can be especially exhausting for those dealing with depression, low self-worth, and feelings of failure. It can feel like a constant battle between the flesh and the spirit, as described in the Bible. Understanding the Cycle of Emotional ups and downs


Many people experience periods of feeling okay followed by crashes of depression and defeat. This cycle can become almost addictive, as we chase the highs and inevitably crash. Our subconscious mind can play a significant role in this, often sabotaging our efforts before we even begin. The Bible tells us that the flesh is at odds with the spirit (Galatians 5:17), and this internal conflict can manifest in our daily lives.
